Prior to joining the firm, Michael C. Marabondo, Esq. had the distinction of clerking for Judge Anthony V. D'Elia in the Civil Division and Family Division, as well as clerking for the Civil Presiding Judge Joseph A. Turula in the Hudson County Superior Court. After his clerkships, he worked at in-house and private firms, representing defendants in civil suits and pre-suit claims in areas including personal injury, Workers' Compensation, contract law, landlord tenant law, subrogation actions, Consumer Fraud Act claims, and many other areas of civil practice. During his time on the defense-side, he managed cases through all litigation stages, and he aggressively litigated and developed his cases through investigation and motion practice to obtain favorable dispositive relief or settlement. While working in-house for a multi-national insurance company, he handled a significant amount of cases during the pre-trial and trial phases, and he also obtained appellate relief, including summary reversal of interlocutory orders.
